Rachel McDonnell

Rachel McDonnell is an Associate Professor in Creative Technologies at the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin. Additionally, she holds the position of a Fellow of Trinity College and serves as a Principal Investigator in the ADAPT Research Centre, while being a member of the Graphics, Vision, and Visualisation Group. Her PhD in Computer Graphics was attained in 2006 from TCD. Her research interests encompass computer graphics, character animation, virtual humans, VR, and perception. The primary emphasis of her work lies in real-time performance capture and perception of virtual humans.
