Dr Klaas-Jan Stol is a Senior Lecturer with the School of Computer Science and Information Technology at University College Cork, Ireland.
His research focuses primarily on human aspects in software engineering and contemporary software development methods, including open source, inner source, and agile methods using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
His research has been published in several of the top journals and conferences in Software Engineering including IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology, Empirical Software Engineering, Journal of Systems and Software, and the International Conference on Software Engineering.
