Donal Sexton
Donal Sexton is a clinician scientist with TCD/ADAPT and St James’s Hospital. He has a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and conducts research in data science, Machine learning and AI on medical data.
1. DANDELION – Donal is part of a consortium of principal investigators applying for funding to create a trusted research environment of health data from St James’s Hospital, The Coombe Hospital and CHI. His use case within this consortium focuses on applying a DeepMind algorithm for acute kidney injury and calibrating it for an Irish Health institution. Secondly he is interested in developing/tuning Large Language models for clinical decision support in clinical contexts.
