Dr. Riordan graduated with a B.Eng(Hons) in Electronic Engineering from DCU in 2005, an M.Sc by Research in Computer Science from MTU in 2008 and a PhD in the area of agricultural electronics from University of Limerick in 2012. Dr. Riordan is also a chartered engineer with Engineers Ireland.
Dr. Riordan is currently the Head of Department of Technology & Engineering at Munster Technological University, a Senior Research Fellow with the IMaR Research Centre @ MTU and a Funded Investigator with SFI Lero.
Dr. Riordan research interests include autonomous systems, sensor system, sensor data analysis and AI for data analysis and the guidance of autonomous systems.
