Prof. Martin Mullins is the Co-Leader of the Emerging Risk Group at Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. He holds the position of Professor in Risk and Insurance and is also a member of the Expert Group on Digital Ethics in Insurance for EIOPA. Additionally, he has worked with the Central Bank of Ireland as a data ethicist. Prof. Mullins has teaching experience in the field of risk and ethics, specifically on the inaugural national (Ireland) MSc program in Artificial Intelligence. His research work has focused on risks governance, and he has been involved in several EU Commission-funded projects related to emerging technologies and risk transfer. Among these projects are VIDAS and Cloud-LSVA, which address risk metrics, privacy, and insurance in the area of assisted driving systems, funded under the MG3.6 and ICT 16 calls, respectively.

Types of projects he is looking to supervise: He is interested in supervising projects related to AI governance in the financial sector or in the policing domain.
